Saturday the 6th of December

Eme said "It was a really good day". I'd have to agree :)

The tree

The Creche festival. The boys were mad because I told them they didn't get a cookie until they looked at ALL the sets, then picked their favorite, then told my WHY it was their favorite :)

HILARIOUS!!!

My favorite

Eme's Favorite

Tom and Jim's favorite

Joe's favorite

Jake's Favorite (it's dogs - SO funny!)

At the library

At Fred Meyer, getting free pictures taken with Santa Claus

Dinner at Yachets, The Adobe

The chocolate cake, that was more like chocolate fudge

And the cheese cake - it was DIVINE!!!

Jimmy's Stories

Last night while I was putting Jimmy to bed, he started telling me the CUTEST stories, so I ran and grabbed my camera, and started taping. He was SO cute. Don't you think? He's talking so much, and is ADORABLE!!! But then, maybe I'm partial?

Eme's on the NEWS!!!

Our Elementary School had a reading day the other day. Eme as SO excited to wear her jammies to school in celebration (but she was a TINY bit worried that no one else would be wearing them too - hehehe).

She came home with a note saying that the TV crews were at the school, covereing Reading day. They said that the kids might be on the evening news at 5, 5:30, and 11. We started watching the news at 5pm - no Eme, and at 5:30pm - no Eme, until the last possible minute. About 5 minutes before the news ended, they started with the story. She's in it a few times. In the group shot, and behind some kid with his book. She's wearing pink jammies. Isn't she cute!!!

Veterans Day 2008

I must admit, as I was standing there on the street corner, watching cars, trucks, and service vehicles drive by carrying memebers past and present of of Military, I couldn't help but get choked up. I played it off as the rain and wind, but I always get sentimental when I think about our servicemen and women. What they do for our country. What they sacrifice for us.

And now that Captain America is a part of that select group, I feel even more proud! And, I know that the kids and I are doing our silent part back home. As Eme and Joe's sign says, Daddy (or husband) deprived for YOUR freedom :)

Your welcome :)

Yes, the weather was NASTY. If you look close, you can see BIG rain drops AND hail. Nice. And, the wind was blowing at 27 mph. It would get a ticket if it was in a school zone with children present! 40mph is a F0 (tornado). I'm just saying....
